Dil Bechara starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi released on July 24, on the streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar. Since Sushant’s untimely and sudden demise, his disheartened fans, family, and friends were anxiously waiting for the Mukesh Chhabra directorial to release on the digital platform. After Dil Bechara’s digital premiere on July 24, fans of Sushant Singh Rajput immediately took to Twitter to express their emotions. Now, the word ‘Seri’ trends on social media and fans talk about how it’s not a word, but an emotion.

Fans of Sushant Singh Rajput are expressing themselves on Twitter after watching his last film. Many mentioned how the film Dil Bechara is quite emotional and did make them cry as well. Now, Sushant’s fans on social media feel that the actor’s last film Dil Bechara and the characters in it have immortalised the word ‘Seri’ that is Kizie and Manny’s word.

On Twitter, one fan tweeted, “#DilBechara Movie No words... after the film gets over emotions surround us...#seri is not a word in the movie it's an emotion ..... Miss you #SushantSinghRajpoot You'll live forever in our Hearts. #DilBechara.” The fan mentioned how the word Seri in the movie is an emotion, while another wrote, “Learned one word from film #Seri and when he said Raja to marr gaya   I don't have words I just wish..... #SSR #DilBechara Song was incomplete because life is incomplete...Just Wow.”

Meanwhile, in the movie, the Tamil word Seri received a lot of attention due to the heart-warming scene it is used in. As Seri means ‘Okay?’ in Tamil, the makers of Dil Bechara have recreated the word in the scene by using Seri. The word was introduced by Kizie Basu played by debutant Sanjana Sanghi in the film to Manny, played by Sushant Singh Rajput, over a phone call.
